Sebring 12H Conquered: Rocky Sim Racing Takes the Top Step
The iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring is officially in the books, and what an absolutely insane weekend of racing it was. Endurance racing is always a massive undertaking, but the stories, the pace, and the camaraderie we saw out on the virtual track this weekend were nothing short of spectacular.
Having the whole team bouncing in and out of voice channels, checking on each other, sharing setup tips, and having spotters jump between teams so nobody was left out to dry... that is the core of what we do. The level of teamwork and community on display was arguably the strongest we've ever had. We didn't just survive the grueling bumps of Sebring; we conquered them.
Here is how our four Rocky Sim Racing entries fared in one of the toughest events on the calendar:
GTP Class: Dominance and Determination
The Outright Winners (P1) 🏆 What a dominating victory. Taking the win by a full two laps is a testament to outright, blistering pace. This team won it the RSR way—we didn't back off for a second. Looking at the timing screens, it was rare to see an average 5-lap pace that wasn’t green across the board. To be the fastest car on track consistently for 12 hours, with nearly zero mistakes aside from a few minor spins, is a masterclass in endurance driving. We all agreed this was probably the best we’ve ever driven as a unit. It is an incredible feeling to add another major victory to the team's resume.
The Comeback Podium (P3) 🥉 If the P1 team was a story of dominance, the P3 squad was a story of pure grit and all the vibes. Their race started strong, getting the car out front early, but it nearly turned into a disaster when the driver in the seat realized no teammates were around for the swap!
What followed was pure adrenaline: a driver jumping into the rig completely cold, and another stepping back into the car after a long hiatus. Despite the chaos, the team completely locked in, held off a late 1x penalty, and wrestled the car to a phenomenal 3rd place finish. Securing a podium under those circumstances is unreal.
GT3 Class: Grinding Through the Bumps
The Hard Fighters Sometimes in multi-class racing, luck just isn't on your side. This team ran a tough race, battling hard to gain a single position, but an unlucky encounter with a GTP car severely hampered their progress. Still, the resilience was incredible. Getting that first big endurance race out of the way is a massive milestone, and the training absolutely showed. We had a driver on just 2.5 stints who climbed through the field like an absolute madman, proving that a podium is inevitably coming their way.
The Ironmen (P10) Taking on a 12-hour race as a two-man team is a monumental task, and the schedule these guys endured was brutal. Driving from 28th on the grid all the way up to 10th is a performance that goes under the radar, but it is incredibly impressive. When you are pulling 6-hour stint times, you have to find something entirely different within your driving. Their flawless traffic management and sheer consistency deep into the night—just keeping the car on the track while battling exhaustion—was half the battle won.

Built for the Endurance Grind
Surviving 4-6-hour worth of stints and battling the notorious, rig-shaking bumps of Sebring all come down to one thing: equipment you can trust.
At Rocky Sim Racing, we know exactly what it takes to survive these endurance events because we race them. When you are pushing the limits for 12 hours straight, you cannot afford chassis flex, slipping pedals, or force feedback loss. You need a simulator that is as rigid and relentless as your drive to win.
Our turnkey and custom rigs are built to handle the highest sustained torque and the most aggressive haptic feedback on the market. When our drivers are locking in for a midnight stint, they are focusing purely on hitting their braking markers and managing traffic, not fighting a rattling chassis. The "RSR way" requires absolute precision, and that is exactly what our simulators deliver.
Our Dark Racing Simulator was apart of the winning GTP team and didn’t skip a beat due to the engineered racing simulator that we have under our experience after building professional racing simulators for over 3 years now.
Next Stop: The Green Hell
Thank you to everyone on the team for an unforgettable weekend of racing. Take a breath and rest up, because we go again in a couple of months. Check the schedules, because our next major target is The Nürburgring 24HR.
If your rig barely survived the bumps of Sebring and you’re looking to upgrade before we hit the Green Hell, let’s talk. We can build the exact setup you need to find that extra pace.
See you on the track.
